16th season for Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra

The Waynesboro Symphony’s October concerts mark the beginning of the Orchestra’s 16th Season.

In this Fall concert, The Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Dr. Peter Wilson, will present a concert. titled “Past is Prelude.” The program will include Rossini’s Overture to “L’Italiana in Algeri, Canning’s “Fantasy on a Hymn by Justin Morgan” and “Les Préludes” by Franz Liszt and will feature Staunton and Mary Baldwin’s Dr. Lise Keiter as piano soloist in a performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor.

Concert dates are: Saturday, October 8th,  7:30 PM   at Waynesboro’s First Baptist Church and  Sunday, October 9th,  3:00 PM  at Staunton’s First Presbyterian  Church.

No tickets are required for these FREE concerts, however, contributions are gratefully accepted.
