Waynesboro Players presents A Little Night Music

The Waynesboro Players are putting on a production of the Tony Award®–winning masterpiece A Little Night Music April 28-May 1 at Spilman Auditorium at Waynesboro High School.

This triumph of stage, with breathtaking lyrics and haunting music, is brought to life by a superbly talented cast. Local favorites Brian Holsopple and Sandi Belcher wind their way through love and regret with vulnerable finesse, while Barbara Spilman Lawson charms as the …eccentric, poignant, hard–boiled Madame Armfeldt. An ode to the frustrations of love, also featuring the talents of Caitlin Alexander, Mark Williams, Gwynne Wood, Elizabeth Brandon, Jeffrey A. Ryman and Nancy Houseknecht, A Little Night Music takes audiences back to turn-of-the-century Sweden, where love, laughter, and music waltz on evening breezes in a land where the sun never sets.

The one-weekend engagement of this critically acclaimed show is a must-see! Sondheim’s witty, romantic, and achingly beautiful music explores the universal subject of love through a whirlwind evening of secrets, plotting, accusations, and unexpected revelations. Aglow with irresistible warmth, A Little Night Music is rich indeed.
